Our Team
Natalie Johnston, MPT
Twenty-four years of physical therapy, a fellowship in pain science, and a specialty in the pain nobody else could explain.
Complicated pain is the specialty, not the exception.
Most clinics treat complex pain when it walks in. Natalie built a practice around it.
Her specialty is chronic and complex pain. That is the work, not a sideline.
She has spent 24 years in physical therapy, across a wide variety of PT settings. That range means she can meet most physical therapy needs. It also means she has seen what gets missed.
What you get from a visit with Natalie
You leave the first visit knowing what is driving your pain and what changes it.
- A cause-first evaluation, one-on-one, every visit.
- Plain-language answers about why the pain has stuck around.
- Hands-on treatment paired with tools you can use at home.
- A plan with an endpoint, built around goals you name yourself.
Her credentials, in full
- MPT, Master of Physical Therapy
- Lifestyle Medicine Certified
- Fellow in Pain Sciences and Therapeutic Pain Specialist
- Registered Yoga Instructor, 500-hour, trauma-informed, registered with Yoga Alliance
- 24 years of physical therapy experience
The pain science credentials are the ones that matter most for chronic pain. They mean she can explain the mechanism, not just treat the spot that hurts.
Why the yoga training matters
Pain that lasts is partly a nervous system stuck on high alert.
You cannot stretch that away. You can learn to settle it.
Natalie's 500-hour and trauma-informed yoga training gives her a second set of tools: breath, gentle movement, sleep, stress, the whole picture. She teaches patients how to regulate their own systems, so progress does not depend on being in the clinic.
In her words: "We are redefining healthcare by seamlessly integrating conventional medicine with holistic approaches, empowering you to take charge of your own well-being."
You can see that work in two places outside one-on-one care: the pain class, four sessions for $150 total, and yoga-informed physical therapy.
If you have already done the research
You have already read everything. You have already tried the thing that did not work.
That is exactly the kind of patient who does well here. You are not difficult. You are informed, and you have been asking a question nobody answered.
The cost of waiting is not just another month of pain. It is another month of your life reorganising itself around it.
Start with a conversation
The first step is a free consult, not a commitment. Tell Natalie what is going on and hear what she thinks is causing it.
Prefer to ask a question first? Contact us and a real person calls you back, not a phone tree. You can also meet the rest of the team.
