We find what is actually causing it.
You leave the first visit knowing what is actually causing this, what we do about it, and what the end of it looks like. One licensed physical therapist, one-on-one, every visit.
What It Is
A lot of people land here after somewhere else handed them a printout. The exercises were not wrong. Nobody had worked out why the pain was there in the first place.
So that is where your plan starts. A cause-first evaluation looks at how you actually move, load, breathe and stand, then traces the pain back to the thing producing it. The sore spot and the source are often not the same place.
From there you get a plan with an endpoint, and you work it one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, every visit. The same clinician, start to finish. They remember what you did last time, because they were the one in the room.
You have already read everything. You have already tried the thing that did not work. That is exactly the kind of patient who does well here.

What It Helps
Pain that has lasted this long does not usually get bored and leave. It teaches you to stop doing things, one thing at a time, until the list of what you avoid is longer than the list of what you do.
What A Session Looks Like
1
We find what is actually causing it.
2
Treatment starts the same visit.
3
You leave with the plan and the endpoint.
How Your Plan Runs
Pain: settle it down so you can move.
Prime: rebuild what was moving badly.
Perform: load it until it holds up.
Prevent: keep it from coming back.

Questions, Answered
Two things. We start with a cause-first evaluation instead of a protocol, so the plan is built around whatever is actually producing your pain, not around your diagnosis code. And every visit is one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, start to finish, never handed off partway through. You also leave with a plan that has an endpoint, so you know what finishing looks like.
That depends on what we find, and we will not guess at it before we look. What you do get is the shape of the road. Your plan moves through four phases, Pain, Prime, Perform and Prevent, and by the end of the evaluation you will know which one you are starting in and what the finish line is for you. A plan with an endpoint beats an open-ended punch card.
It depends on your plan. We will check your benefits for you before your first visit, so the cost is not a surprise you find out about later. Questions before then? Call us at (319) 382-2743 and a real person picks up.
