Dr. Adam Janowski

I graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2009 after which I practiced in the Chicagoland area for over a decade in a variety of clinical settings. My wife, three children, and I moved out to Iowa City in 2020 where I worked towards a PhD at the University of Iowa studying chronic fatigue and chronic pain syndromes like ME/CFS, long COVID, and Fibromyalgia. I then pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Iowa continuing my study of chronic illness. I love being a physical therapist. I love working with individuals to maximize their health and wellness so that they can reach their personal goals and live their best life. My favorite part of my job is getting to see how different we all are as individuals and tailoring my treatment intervention to our unique characteristics.
