Teen Yoga Series

Four weeks of practical tools for stress, body image, and identity. No yoga experience needed.

Tools teens can actually use

Being a teenager is a lot right now. This is a four-week, yoga-based program built to help teens navigate stress, body image, and identity using movement, breath, and practical nervous system tools.

It is taught by Natalie Johnston, MPT, a licensed physical therapist with trauma-informed yoga training. Sessions run one hour, 6:30 to 7:30pm.

What the series supports

Nervous system regulation. Extended-exhale breathing, grounding and interoception practices, and learning to recognize a stress signal and respond to it with a physical tool instead of waiting it out.

Improved body image. Body-neutral language and movement, appreciation for what a body does rather than how it looks, and less internal comparison.

A stronger sense of self. Identity explored through movement and reflection, on themes of strength, boundaries, voice, and empowerment.

Who it is for

Any teen. No yoga experience needed. This is a welcoming, non-judgmental space, and the movement is accessible and adaptable for all bodies.

Teens with dysautonomia, EDS, POTS, or any other chronic condition are encouraged to participate. Natalie treats these conditions every week, so nothing about them is new here.
