a trauma sensitive instructor – why it MATTERS

because WE all have our own trauma!

Trauma is NOT just a single sudden event that results in physical injury. Trauma is ANY very stressful or frightening event(s) that are difficult to cope with whether it is ongoing, chronic, or sudden. These experiences disconnect the mind and body. Our trauma informed instructor will empower you through choice and trust, to feel safe and more comfortable in your body, how to better regulate your emotions and express yourself as you journey down the path of post-traumatic healing and growth. Reactivate those parts of your brain that have gone offline as a survival mechanism and find your sense of self and purpose again.

For me, working with Natalie as a Physical Therapist and Yoga instructor was like experiencing magic in my life. She enabled me to work with my body and mind to manage pain and to reduce the pain so I could continue to live my life and be a Mom, Grandma, friend and advocate.
